Solar PV Grant

The (Sustainable Energy Authority) SEAI grant support for Solar PV is available to all owners of dwellings built and occupied before 2021 and where SEAI have not previously provided support for solar PV system at that address.

The solar PV grant available from SEAI is €700 per kWp up to 2kWp and €200 for every additional kWp up to 4kWp.

Total grant available capped at €1,800

Electric Vehicle Charger Grant

A government funded support scheme to assist homeowners install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €300 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit. The applicant must be the owner of a new or second-hand electric vehicle (EV).

Commercial Grant

A solar PV system with an output of a maximum 1,000kWp can be grant funded through the scheme. If the system installed is larger than 1,000kWp, then the applicant may apply for the maximum grant offering of €162,600* and this is available for systems from 1kWp to a maximum of 1,000kWp.
